AutoStream wants to introduce you to a new site for track lovers, Apex Kings. A hard core community of people that build insane cars and take them to and beyond the edge at the track. Most recently its members were featured in the December 2009 issue of Top Gear Magazine, when SwitchCars.com hosted a GT-R gathering at the Spring Mountain Motor Sport Country Club.
The video above was shot at the event and illustrates that the members of Apex Kings aren’t “Street Racing Kids”, rather they’re a hard-core group of track junkies that beat on their cars in a way the play station crowd could only pretend they do on most Internet forums. If you’re more talk than action and aren’t afraid to prove it at the track, you’re the kind of member they want, and you’re welcome to join. If you would rather polish your rims and bench race magazines, I’m sure they will happily recommend somewhere else you can join.
